The immersive experience offers engaging and festive activities like becoming a Christmas elf helper and digital toy-screening games, along with plenty of exciting photo ops (eight in total!). In addition to its toy factory Christmas extravaganza, ifc mall is offering select rewards to shoppers! Santa’s Magic Toy Factory

From now until Wednesday, 1 January, 2025, ifc mall is hosting a suite of interactive Christmas activities in its Oval Atrium that could put a smile on the Grinch himself. Visitors are invited to take up the role of a Christmas elf, making their way through the various departments of a joyful, bustling toy factory to celebrate all the good deeds of 2024. Unlike static displays, this experience offers hands-on, Insta-worthy activities that are sure to have you immersed in the Christmas magic, and have all your friends wondering how you found a winter wonderland in Hong Kong!

Check-in

Shoppers can begin their magical journey at the Check-in station and get ready to transform into a Christmas elf! Meanwhile, snap a pic under a delightful display and of course a sign officiating that you’re on duty! 

Elf Workstation

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Find out by filling out a Naughty or Nice Report at the Elf Workstation. Here, you can gush to Santa about everything you hope to receive in the new year (hopefully you receive his stamp of approval!).

The Sweet Corner

Make your way to The Sweet Corner, where a limited-edition, candy-coated surprise awaits. Nothing says Christmas like the sweet aroma of candy — and you’re going to need the sugar rush for all the fun-filled activities that you’re about to take part in!

Santa’s Office

Take a commemorative photo at Santa’s Office (perhaps even meet the man himself!) and witness the behind-the-scenes headquarters of Christmas’s head honcho.

Assembly Department

Become an essential part of creating the Xmas magic by fully transforming into an elf helper! Head straight to the Assembly Department to begin assembling wooden toys and toy components, but make sure to follow instructions, because the next department ensures perfection!

Inspection Department

Hoping to add a couple of last-minute points to your Nice list? Here, you can donate $50 via Octopus Card to the Hong Kong Committee For UNICEF. Meanwhile, help make sure each gift is Santa-approved! A fun-filled, immersive digital game will keep you on your toes as you screen toys (plus, receive a plush keychain for all your hard work!).

Logistics Department

A conveyor belt transports the toys to the Logistics Department, where you can help gift-wrap each individual toy and place it on Santa’s sleigh. The practice will come in handy for all your future gift-wrapping endeavours!

Flying Reindeers With Santa’s Sleigh

On Christmas Eve, all the toys the elves have assembled will be shipped worldwide, spreading the festive cheer around the globe. ‘Tis the season for goodwill!

A Christmas Extravaganza

Throughout the festive season, ifc will also offer Christmas Shopping Rewards, festive performances featuring live music and exclusive sweet surprises, creating a curated display of winter cheer.
