If you are a yoga devotee, a beginner or just want to dress like a yogini then you must mark May 14-17 on your diaries because the Evolution Asia Yoga Conference will be coming to Hong Kong. The four-day conference will be filled with all things zen and you can participate as much or as little as you would like (passes range from a four-day pass to a 2-hour session). Admission to the general conference is free and it includes the yoga bazaar (which will have our favs Lily Lotus, tanya-b, Zobha and lululemon) and all free community classes and special events.

Bollywood Fusion (taught by Hemalayaa on 14 May from 5pm-7pm)
Join yoga and Indian dance diva Hemalayaa in awakening your spiritual power in Bollywood Vinyasa, which combines classic Vinyasa flow yoga with elements of Bollywood 101. Bollywood 101 is inspired by the exuberant, erotic and expressive moves seen in Indian films. Joy will abound as yoga and Indian dance diva Hemalayaa leads you through a series of familiar yoga postures linked together in an exhilarating creative way – you’ve never done yoga like this before. You’ll walk away feeling Ananda (bliss) from this practice. 100% Dance
Vinyasa Flow Yoga (taught by Seane Corn on 15 May from 10:30am-12:30pm)
Learn the foundation of a solid practice through alignment, core awareness and breathing techniques. Understand the basic principles of sun salutes A and B and how this is the cornerstone of every vinyasa practice. Also discussed will be the preparation, inner queues and dissection of the fundamentals of standing poses, backbends, twists and inversions. 10% Lecture, 90% Asana & Demonstrations
Yogaaid Challenge (16 May from 1:30pm-3:30pm)
The purpose of the Yoga Aid Challenge is to raise awareness about the benefits of Yoga and to raise money for various charity projects by asking that each participant make a donation prior to the events. The Yoga Aid Challenge is a 2 hour-Yoga practice with 12 esteemed faculty teachers, each leading a different style of Yoga in a unique Karma Yoga experience. Yoga Aid events are recognised around the world for bringing together the Yoga community with the purpose of “giving 4 living”. Rockin Flow (taught by Patrick Creelman on 17 May from 8:00am-10:00am)
