Anya Hindmarch

5 July, 2010

A couple of years ago Anya Hindmarch came out with her famous “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” tote. The eco-frienldy bag was so popular and a must-have among celebs and fashionistas. In fact, I distinctly remember walking down Queen’s Road Central and practically every street stall was selling a knock off version of the “green” bag.

Well Anya Hindmarch, the Queen of fabulous totes, is at it again…. This time the designer has found a way to transport bottles of wine to summer parties and picnics (or junk boats if you’re in HK) safely and chicly without spills while helping to promote the fact that you don’t need a plastic bag for everything!

The brown canvas tote with leather strap is smartly designed with 6 compartments so you can bring along half a dozen bottles of wine in one go. I love the illustration on the bag with the 3 bottles of wine, too cute!

The bag typically retails for about $195USD which is a bit expensive, but considering you can reuse the bag over and over it may be well worth it.

I think it makes the perfect gift for a wine loving friend!
