Yummy Lunch at 208 Duecento Otto

We’re big fans of 208 Duecento Otto on Hollywood Road – since they first opened it has been one of my date night staples as it always has such a great buzz to it and the food is dependably delicious, right from the moreish garlicky bread they bring you as you sit down. We’d never really considered it as a lunch venue before though, as we tend to grab something on the go, or scoff down a quick salad at one of our habitual haunts. However, now The Bar at 208 has launched a brand-new weekday lunch menu, they’ll definitely be seeing us a lot more often, especially as the set lunch comes with a wallet-friendly price tag of HK88!

The lunch menu is comprised of six constantly changing dishes each day, and includes a soft drink (try out one of their fabulous non-alcoholic fruit tonics) as well as a tea or coffee at the end of your meal. The current menu has options like a classic Caesar Salad, Arancini (a deep-fried ball of risotto – truly sinful!), 208 Meatballs and a pasta of the day. You can also order 208’s fabulous pizzas from the a la carte menu, and finish off with a selection of gelati and sorbets. I can’t get enough of their stracciatella flavour which is so creamy and good.

Lunch is served from noon to 3 pm, with last orders at 2.30 pm.
