If you didn’t manage to get away this summer, then don’t despair, as we’re bringing the ultimate holiday destinations to you. From the sunny skies of Spain to the exotic landscape of South America… and how are we going to do that you ask? By titillating your taste buds with the flavours of not one, not two, but FOUR different cuisines from around the world! That’s right, we’ve teamed up with Concept Creations to give you (quite literally!) a taste of each of their different restaurants. Cure that case of wanderlust in a couple of bites!
Our Around the World Food Tour is simply jam-packed with fun foodie activities and of course, delicious meals to keep you going. The fabulous Greek resto, Souvla (check out our review here) will be hosting us and you’ll be able to enjoy free-flow drinks, special goodie bags (with a one-month voucher for The Entertainer app valued at $149!) and incredible food stations as well as a salad and dessert buffet. You’ll even have the chance to win some dining vouchers by answering a fun quiz about Concept Creation restaurants… we told you it would be jam-packed!
Each food station will feature mouth-watering specialities from one of Concept Creation’s restaurants. You’ll be treated to a demonstration at each station where you can watch the chefs whip up their chosen dish – expect refreshing ceviche at the Chicha station and jamon slices from Tapeo! - Chicha – Ceviche station: Watch the chef make traditional (corvina) and contemporary (mixto) ceviche, and then enjoying eating it after! Wash it down with shots of Leche de Tigre (marinade) and find out more about these national dishes of Peru.
- Frites – Mussels station: Learn from the Chef about where the mussels are from and try their delicious Hoegaarden and Marinere recipes! Don’t miss exclusive info from the chef about Belgian dining and the importance of beer in the culture.
- Souvla – Greek Station: Find out about Greek food staples like moussaka and spanakopita and learn how they’re made… you might even get to try your hand at cooking and eating the results too!
- Tapeo – Spanish Station: Feast your eyes on a full leg of Jamon and learn about the black and white Iberico pigs. You’ll get to see the chef cutting the Jamon and even have a go yourself! And that’s not all, as you’ll be shown how to create an authentic Garlic Aioli to go with those patatas bravas – yum!
