The Butchers Club Block Party

We can always count on The Butchers Club to deliver when it comes to celebrations. This weekend, expect nothing less than the outrageously good food, free-flowing drinks and buzzing atmosphere that these meat aficionados are known for. They’ll be hosting a block party in celebration of the Fourth of July, HKSAR Day and Canada Day, infusing a bit of each culture into the party. Indulge in the new ‘Glory Hole Burger’ (think a burger and a doughnut combined…), tuck into an epic Cheese Burger Poutine, or take part in classic American party games like beer pong and flip-cup. Expect keg stands, funnels, eating and drinking competitions, and plenty of fun…

When: Friday, 1 July, 4pm
Where: The Butchers Club Burger, 2 Landale Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Red, White and Rainbow at The Pontiac

We’ve always admired The Pontiac and its team of strong, kick ass ladies, and this weekend they’ll be hosting an event to be proud of! The second annual ‘Red, White and Rainbow’ event will feature the same fun and fiery atmosphere that we know and love, but with a focus on equality and freedom. Drinks specials and donations to plates of tasty BBQ will all go to LGBT organisations in HK, making this a party truly worth attending! Apart from the killer drinks, awesome tunes and all round great vibes, you can also expect a Hawaiian Luau from Pololi, a drag show and pool party from Absolute, and Aviation American Gin Hunks… what more could you want?! See you there in support of unity and freedom!

When: Sunday, 3 July, 3 – 11pm
Where: The Pontiac, 13 Old Bailey Street, Soho, Central, Hong Kong
How much: Donations are welcome and will go towards LGBT organisations in HK.

Brooklyn Backyard with Linguini Fini and Little Burro

Of course, Vinnie and the team at Homegrown Foods have prepared some seriously good deals to celebrate the fourth of July. Linguini Fini are hosting a Red, White and Blue barbecue complete with their signature pizza slices, ‘Dirty Water Dogs’, wings, burgers, all manner of sides and even tacos from our fave Mexican joint, Little Burro. Now that’s one collaboration we can get on board with! There will be plenty to tuck into at this American feast, all of which can be washed down with Linguini Fini’s free-flow PBR, margaritas, ‘Hard Lemonade’ or even a popsicle. If food and drink isn’t enough to keep you entertained, never fear, as there will be an exciting magic show as well as the sweet sounds of live band H2O. Continue the party down the road at Posto Pubblico where you can enjoy their much-loved ‘Biggie Smalls and Meatballs‘ with free-flow Peroni, Bellinis, wine coolers and a buffet menu which includes a ‘Build Your Own Sub Station’. Phew!

When: Sunday, 3 July, 12pm – late
Where:
Linguini Fini, Posto Pubblico
How much:
$500 per head or $900 per head to attend both Posto Pubblico and Linguini Fini
