Well, either way May is looking like a great month for events with a great mix of parties, foodie events and wellness activities – it’s all here girls – jot these dates down. The Sai Kung Sunday Market is back, with over 70 vendors in an indoor setting, so you can shop away from the heat. Expect food, fashion, jewellery and more!

Cook In presents HK’s first food truck festival! Four top chefs and their teams will be managing four food trucks respectively: Ms. Joyce Cheng of Homie Cookies, Mr. Sam Lee from Boomshack with all-American bites, Mr. Master Joe of with Korean faves from Superstar and Mr. Stefan Wong with some delicious Mediterranean dishes. There will be 15 other booths at the festival, including the world’s first image-printing marshmallows, Boomf!

your-mum-for-your-diary-mayYour Mum Presents: M83                                            

Their very first show in Hong Kong, YourMum is bringing space-age, future pop masters M83 over as part of their 2016 world tour. With six albums released so far, M83’s ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’ (released in 2011), placed the Grammy nominated French group in the mainstream current. With their first album in six years being release soon, this is sure to be an epic night!

Two of HK’s hottest restaurants and fast casual concepts are joining forces for this year’s Cinco de Mayo fiesta with a one-night-only taco pop-up stand. Little Burro’s owner, Roger De Leon, AKA DJ Re:Flex, will be showcasing the best of both his worlds, while Lily & Bloom Head Chef, Billy Otis, whips up a Mexican-inspired feast for you before you drink and dance the night away.
