Our Weekender is full of cool events and totally action-packed! A classic furniture sale, an interesting talk on the restaurant business in the ‘Kong, and of course, booze! The best part is, some of it’s for charity, too! If you’re hating on the heat, why not run away to our sister SAR, Macau? All this and more for the weekend…

Charity drinking in Central
The charity group Kilimanjaro 6 is going to gather some of the coolest bars in town for a night of guilt-free drinking. For every drink you order, a portion of your purchase will be donated to St. Rita Orphanage in Manila. So the more drinks, the better! You can also win prizes from raffle draws. If you miss this one, you can always join their next event, which will be held in October. Check their website for more upcoming events.
The F&B biz in Hong Kong is always flourishing, and many are keen to get in on the action. In conjunction with our friends at General Assembly, we’re hosting a panel talk: Building a Business People Love: Restaurant Edition, perfect for all of you simply curious about what happens behind-the-scenes at your favourite bars and restaurants or looking to get involved in the F&B world. With representation from some of the top dining groups, including Black Sheep Restaurants, Privé Group and Drawing Room Concepts, the panel will discuss their insights to help you start on your new venture!
