Catching a movie is a classic date night activity… but let’s face it, not exactly the most inspired of choices! Well, until HushUp Hong Kong’s Secret Cinemas, that is! For Valentine’s Day, a suitably sweet movie is in order – so they’ve arranged a special tasting experience to go alongside their movie screening of Chocolat. Head to the unique secret location for a mysterious evening with your Valentine, and indulge in Granada Food & Wine and Gaggia chocolate (including chocolate-wine pairings, cheese and charcuterie nibbles, coffee and ice-cream tasting and plenty more) before sitting back and enjoying the film. Photobooth fun, chocolate demos and a chance to shoot with professional photographers will seal the night with a kiss… Mwah!
SASSY GIVEAWAY: We have one pair of tickets to give away to the Chocolat Secret Cinema – simply drop your details in the form here to enter. The lucky winner will be notified via email later today so don’t forget to check your inbox!
When: 8 February, 6-10pm
Where: Secret location announced two days before the event to ticket holder (no more than 15 minutes from Central by cab!)
How much: $400 per ticket, purchase here
A little chocolate always brightens up our day… So imagine how we feel about the world’s best chocolates, all gathered and ready for our delectation under one roof?! It’s not just chocolates though… they’ve also got scrumptious pastries and ice cream at the ready – we’re hearing particularly yummy things about Singapore’s Twelve Cupcakes, Ice Cream Gallery’s weird and wonderful flavours (hello Bacon & Egg!) and Fauchon’s new range of eclairs. Get ready for a sugar high!
When: Until 16 February
Where: Throughout Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Canton Road, Hong Kong
How much: Free to explore; prices of chocolates vary
