Get bendy at Yoga Bam Bam
Hong Kong’s yogis have been talking about the opening of Yoga Bam Bam for months, and this Sunday 4 May marks the studio’s opening! In Jamaican, ‘Bam Bam meetings’ are gatherings where everyone brings something to the party, and that’s exactly what will be happening. With free trial classes, paid workshops and performances, there’s something for everyone (including kids and families). So get yourself down there to try out what this new studio with an artistic twist has to offer – from AcroYoga to Canto Yoga (learn Cantonese in downward dog!), Inversions to Kintifitti (if you’ve been loving Esther Poon’s artwork, you’ll love this class), the party will be going on throughout the day! All are welcome… get ready to have some yogi fun!
La bonne vie…
Francophiles, you’ll be pleased to know that today is the official start of ‘Le French May’! That’s right, a whole month dedicated to all things fabulous and French. To coincide with HK’s heaviest arts month (Art Basel is just around the corner!), Le French May will be showcasing the best of French creativity, arts and culture, including exhibitions, films and performances. And of course, the foodies had to get in on the Frenchie action too! Le French GourMay is Hong Kong’s French Food and Wine Festival, which will be held alongside Le French May. Featuring over 69 restaurants, this year the region of Rhône Valley will be celebrated with special deals, discounts and menus. Bon appétit!
