Street party!
It’s time for the awesome annual block party that is the Lan Kwai Fong Street Carnival! For the ultimate outdoor party atmosphere, grab your friends for a feast of food and drink on the streets (who’s up for a spicy pizza eating contest?!) and check out the live music, arts and crafts stalls, martial arts performers and hot Brazilian dancers for the biggest all-day all-night party in town!

When: 17 November, 1pm-1am; 18 November, 1-10pm

It’s a Fat Fat Tuesday!
If you’re looking for a day in the park, then head over to the Standard Chartered Arts in the Park Mardi Gras event at Victoria Park! Expect to be dazzled by the vibrant parade costumes, giant colourful puppets and stalls full of arts and crafts – all with a fun circus twist for this year. The highlight? A massive parade on Sunday snaking into the streets of Causeway Bay, with over 600 people dressed in magnificent Mardi Gras costumes – you might even find yourself trying to join in!

When: 17-18 November, 10am-5pm; parade on Sunday starts at 3pm

Pop-up time
Love art? Love fashion? Then you’ll definitely want to check out British contemporary artist Damien Hirst’s pop-up shop at the always cool I.T store in Causeway Bay. The exhibition’s centrepiece is six prints of his iconic  “For the Love of God” work, featuring a baby skull encrusted with 8601 diamonds (!), whilst there will also be other prints on display and collectible postcards, scarves, books and home décor to buy and Hirst-ify your life with!
