Get amped
The talented young people of Hong Kong are putting on Amplify, a show at Chinese International School, to raise funds for Room to Read. Students will be showcasing their talents by singing and playing their best musical pieces. And to add a competitive edge, they’ll be competing for a demo recording session! Better yet, it’s all for a good cause too, as Room to Read are a fantastic charity that aims to improve literacy and gender equality throughout the world. Who knows, we may discover the next Coldplay…

Fare for a fair
It was cancelled last minute in May due to the terrible weather, so we’re hoping it holds out for the postponed event this weekend! After the success of Harbour Artisanal‘s first festival in February, the independent food fair is back for round two. And this time it’s bigger and better as it’s been extended to two days! Boutique food and beverage vendors (including some of Sassy’s favourites – Honi Honi, The Socialhouse, and microbrewery Young Master Ales) will be there, providing delicious nibbles and drinks. Forks at the ready!

Papa, can you hear me?
It’s nearly that time of year where we celebrate all that’s good and great about our dads! Father’s Day is just round the corner, and we’ve got some great options right here.
