Nature’s treasure
What better way to kick off the summer than with a bit of retail therapy? One of our favourite jewellery boutiques, niin, is celebrating the sunny season with a fabulous Summer Sale! Pining to get away this summer, but keep finding excuses why you shouldn’t leave? Workaholics… we’re looking at you! If you’ve not got a flight booked yet then the next best thing is to head over to Club Monaco in Central for a pop-up travel gallery. You’ll be inspired to get away by this exhibition, which features memories from travel writers, photographers and the chief tastemakers at Club Monaco. Grab a headset and get browsing – the images of sun, sea, sand and pools are sure to inspire you to make some summer travel plans!

A cold brew
Nothing beats an ice cold one after a long day at work! Lifestyle Federation and Tipping Point Brewing Co. are hosting Tipsy Tuesday, a night of free-flow fun, food and craft beers. There’ll be three kinds of craft beers as well as two types of craft beer sangrias, crafty to say the least! Nibble on some bites and take part in beer games and a lucky draw, too. Sounds like the perfect way to get over the Monday blues! You may even discover your new favourite beverage… time to get tipsy!

Spin for your life
Are you a fitness fanatic who just loves spinning? Or are you a gym bunny who’s never even tried it? Well, this is your chance to get up to speed with this intense workout and prove that you’re a spinning queen! Cycle like you’ve never cycled before at Torq Cycle – not only will you seriously feel the burn but you’ll walk away feeling like your legs are toned and strong. It’s a great way to stay in shape and Torq makes it fun by incorporating other exercises too. This weekend, the spin experts are hosting their third Schwinn’s Bronze Level Certification Training Course, ideal if you want to get qualified, or looking for an excuse to maintain your fitness… you’ll walk away a spinning pro!

Steak ‘n’ Frites
One of our favourite carnivorous restos, The Butcher’s Club Deli (check out our review here) will be hosting Steak Frites Night tonight and every Friday onwards. For those looking to indulge their inner foodie, there will be crab cakes, dry-aged bone-in rib-eye steak (you know it will be good!), duck fat fries, salad and of course, no meal would be complete without a delicious dessert. They’ll be serving up dark chocolate cheesecake… need we say more? It all sounds so delicious, some of us at Sassy HQ are forgoing our weekend vacays just to get a taste of this!
