Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun is over! We’ve found a fab line-up of awesome events to keep you entertained over the weekend. Munch on burgers at a Wan Chai block party, shop ’til you drop at the Kowloon Bazaar and see off summer with an evening at Tropical Vibes. It’s all here in this week’s Weekender…

Tropical tunes…
We may have to battle rainstorms and typhoons, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see off the summer in style! The Mira hotel is hosting a night of chilled out tunes and tiki cocktails at Vibes that’s sure to help you relax after a busy week. Tropical Vibes will have DJs from Cliché Records, live congo drummers and fresh pineapple drinks… don’t forget to dress in your most tropical attire!

When: Friday, 4 September 2015, 9pm – 12am
Where: Vibes, 5/F, The Mira Hong Kong, 118 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
How much: $100 at the door (inclusive of one drink), $3,888 for 10 guests at a Private Cabana.

The holiday season is scarily close and if you’re determined to be super prepared this year, then head over to the Kowloon Bazaar. From household decor to fine jewellery to fashion, this annual shopping fest has everything you need when it comes to gifts. With a huge variety of vendors, this year the event is set to be even bigger and better… so get ready to indulge in a day of shopportunities galore!

Sate those carnivorous cravings tonight at The Butchers Club Burger in Wan Chai! The meat aficionados will be hosting an epic block party on Landale Street, so if you’re looking to unwind then make sure you head down for a cold glass of Peroni and of course, a mouthwatering burger. This is definitely one Friday night of fun you won’t want to miss.

Make your way out to Sai Kung this Sunday for the first Sai Kung Sunday Market of the season! Shop from a selection of unique vendors and pick up some amazing local produce, gourmet foods and handmade crafts. Escape the crowds of the city and enjoy the community spirit at this cute little market out in the New Territories… you might even pick up a gift or two along the way!

How much: Free entry, but you’ll definitely need cash for some retail therapy.

Yogis and anyone looking to get back on track after an indulgent summer can’t miss out on Mayya Movement’s next event, “From KEE to Zen“. The swanky KEE Club will hosting the evening, which will feature a sweaty yoga class from the wonderful Nealy Fischer, a talk from health transformation specialist Dave Catudal, yummy nibbles and a couple of cheeky glasses of wine… sounds like a winner to us! Snap up tickets now before they all go.
