Can you imagine a workout that’s also like a huge party? Bouncing to the beat and fist pumping while flying, I had the time of my life at Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park. If you haven’t been already, we’re sure you’ve at least heard of this indoor amusement centre where you can jump, tumble and bounce to your heart’s content.
Covering 7,000 sq. ft., Ryze includes 40 interconnecting trampolines, dodgeball, basketball, foam pits and jumping boards. With multiple sections that are essentially all bounce-able, everyone was jumping, laughing and just plain enjoying themselves. The brains behind Ryze’s design have been very accommodating, they’ve even included sofas and beanbags off to the side for those of us who get tired in between our crazy bursts of fun.
We loved the separated sections of the stadium – they not only have regular trampolines, but there’s also a whole room sectioned off with soft dodge-balls that you can throw around at your boyfriends, or that cute stranger you may want to start a conversation with. Show off your amazing balance and take a walk on the Ryze slack line – which is like tightrope walking, but safely located right above a foam pit. Believe me, falling off is half the fun!
If you want to plan a girl’s night involving silly costumes and flying fun, make sure you head over to Ryze on their Theme Night Thursdays. They’ve done 80’s, Dubstep, PJs, Disco and more, so check out their Facebook page for new themes every week.
Remember when we said party? We weren’t kidding – Club Ryze happens every Friday and Saturday night, where the lights go out and the lasers come on, and we’ll be dancing to great jams picked out by the Ryze team. Prices: Ryze ‘flights’ start every half an hour. Tickets are priced at $150/hour for adults. Walk-ins are welcome, but we advise reserving your tickets in advance online if you’re planning to go on a weekend or public holiday, as they are generally sold out.
