One of Hong Kong’s hottest tables, we love 208’s NYC take on Italian food – generous platters of antipasto, authentic pizzas and hearty pastas. Sit downstairs at the bar and watch Sheung Wan go by, or go up to the more formal dining area. Either way, the cool design and pleasant vibe makes for a delightful and unpretentious dining experience. After dinner, head on to REPUBLIK just up the road for a Passionate Affair – that’s our favourite juicy passionfruit cocktail!

This little café isn’t swanky but it serves a reasonable selection of Italian food and possibly the most delicious (if unhealthy) pastas we’ve tried. If we’re honest, it’s perfect hangover grub – even the vegetarian pasta comes with gooey cheese and a tasty pesto sauce – oh so good. Order the yummy spinach salad and feel slightly more virtuous.

One of our favourite Italian restaurants. Cecconi’s ranks highly for consistency as well as taste. We recommend the seafood linguine which pairs slippery pasta with perfectly cooked seafood, or the spaghetti with clams and fresh tomato sauce – delicious. Save room for the zesty lemon panna cotta, a refreshing way to end the meal.

This Roman starlet and one of Star Street’s founding restaurants serves homemade pastas (hungry eaters can even supersize their portion for HKD 48) prepared with simple but utterly delicious sauces in a modern environment. The all-glass wine cellar makes the perfect place for a private party.
