We know, we know – SOGO is super crowded at the best of times and don’t even get us started on the mammoth queues! But we also know that come summer, they dedicate an entire floor to swimwear (with some real steals to be had too), which means that with just a little bit of patience, we promise that you’ll find something. Sassy tip: if the mania around the swimwear section gets too much, head to the lingerie section where brands like Embry Form and Triumph always have some swimwear options to shop from (and in a much more chilled environment too!). You can also check out some of the smaller department stores around town (like APITA or YATA) for even more options.

By now you might already know that we’re huge fans of this Hong Kong swimwear brand. Founders Jen and Lulu were frustrated at the limited choices for swimwear in our city, so they decided to break out with their own range of fun, sexy and stylish looks that will take you from surfing the sea straight to your long seafood lunch in Sai Kung without even breaking a sweat. We love the the sexy cutouts in their Lovelocks Maillot swimsuit!
Available online here.
Mer Culture has a great selection of swimsuits that come in a wide range of colours and exotic patterns and materials that you can mix and match to suit whatever shape or style you love. We love the one-shoulder options as well as the sexiest tankini we have seen yet! Sizing ranges from XS-XL, so no matter your size, you are well sorted. This is your brand if you want to wow in the waves and smoulder in the sand!
For those of you who love quirky fun prints – Hong Konger Sabina Wong’s Sabina Swims is perfect for you! There’s something for every body type; we particularly love their one-piece suits, which provide just enough coverage while still being sexy and fun. Bikini tops range from $550-650, with swimsuits priced around $1,100, however their swimwear errs more on the petite side (the maximum is around a C cup). Their store on Lyndhurst Terrace is closing down, but thankfully they’ll still be available online!

This Australian label has recently launched in the 852 and we’ve quickly fallen in love with their pieces. Inspired by the founders’ photography and travel, they stock a variety of styles from bikinis, one-pieces and kaftans (perfect for Sassy Girls who prefer a bit more coverage when you’re sprawled out on a deck chair…). This Marrakech print twist bandeau bikini top would look so summery and bright with a pair of white denim shorts.

Shine bright like neon… that’s what we think browsing through the Triangl online lookbook. We’ve seen their styles on Sassy sister Demi Lovato among others and love how structured they look. The Poppy bikini in Flamingo Fling (what cute names for the styles and colours, too!) is one of our favourites.
For free delivery worldwide and a HUGE (some might even say overwhelming!) range of choices, it just doesn’t get better than ASOS. Whenever we’re on the site, let’s just say that we never manage to close that browser empty-carted! For swimwear that’s super on-trend, go crazy surfing through pages of gorgeous bikinis, tankinis and one-pieces (there were over 1000 pieces when we last checked), available at pretty much every price point too. Aside from the usual brands (including Freya, Seafolly, Sunseeker, River Island, Ted Baker and French Connection), be sure to check out their ASOS own brand that provides mix and match options in every colour, print and style imaginable. Bigger girls, make sure you check out their +DD selections and ASOS Curve collection.
These brightly-coloured one-and-two pieces are for those Sassy Girls who prefer the clean and simple look. The White Moonstone bikini has mesh detailing on the neckline and on the side panels, which looks super sporty and sexy at the same time. It’s definitely a bikini that you can swim, run and exercise in!

Figleaves has built up a rep for being the biggest and best one-stop online shop for all things lingerie and swimwear, and a quick glance at their extensive range of swimwear brands should tell you that it’s well deserved! Although they stock all the international staples (Freya, Fantasie, Panache, Seafolly, Pour Moi?), we’re most loving the look of their in-house lines – Midnight Grace, Just Peachy (which even has a Bikini Bar app showing you how to mix and match all the possible combos) and figleaf swimwear. We’ve gone totally gaga for their happy prints, such as the confetti coloured Pina Colada collection shown above! International shipping costs only GBP5.50 with orders delivered within 5-10 working days. Also, did we mention that loads of these fun and supportive styles come in sizes up to a GG-cup – what more could we want?
For blissful beachwear, there’s ain’t anywhere better than the aptly named BeachBliss! With a focus on finding great new brands to introduce to their shoppers rather than the same old staples, we’re impressed with BeachBliss’ careful and stylish edit, with cool brands like Voda Swims, L*Space and B Swim. For ladies who want a little bit more oomph to their swimsuits, there’s a great push-up swimsuit section (many have even graced the pages of Sports Illustrated) – Voda Swim’s Envy push-up bikini claims it will have you looking up to two cup sizes bigger in no time! Most of the goods will set you back between US$50-150, with shipping to Hong Kong ranging between US$17-25… and be sure to check out BeachBliss’ Swim Blog for all their latest promotions and discount codes too!
