Summer Style Inspiration: Ruche

I’m in a bit of a style rut these days, with no real chance of breaking out of it anytime soon. Being pregnant (and growing bigger by the day all over) means that maxi-dresses and skirts are the most comfortable and stylish option for me, and as I only have a few, you will be seeing me in the same outfit A LOT over the next 3-4 months!

The rain also doesn’t exactly inspire stylish dressing – I pretty much give up on wearing shoes during the rainy season and stick with my Havaianas, as I just hate squishing around with soggy feet. That being said, I’m still happy to look at clothing inspirations and dream of sunny days when I will have my waist back. It’s looking like that won’t be until 2011 with the way I’m packing away the carbs right now!

The new Spring/Summer collection from Ruche (who ship worldwide) is ticking all the right boxes for me at the moment – sweetly feminine pieces, floral fabrics and a bit of a vintage look. It also helps that the look book (shot by Stephanie Williams) featuring images of sunny days, rolling fields and romantic evenings is totally gorgeous. Makes me want to head out on a road trip and bake some pies (instead of looking like I’ve eaten all of them!)…
