Following the success of our hugely popular, “Chic Boutique” in August, on Wednesday May 19th, The Bostonian restaurant, at The Langham in TST will become home toΒ Hong Kong’s very first β€œSouk”.Β  This ultimate girls’ night out has a fun Moroccan theme, which sets the perfect backdrop for a night of shopping and socializing.

An impressive array of fabulous local designers is lined up ready to descend on The Bostonian to bring you the very best must-haves for this year.Β  Think vintage handbags, dramatic jewellery, gorgeous dresses…we could go on!Β  Not content with just the fashion on offer? Then try out the henna tattooists, manicurists and make-up artists, who will be on hand to ensure you leave looking even more fabulous than when you arrived.

The event is free but alas, the clothes are not, so bring your credit cards and cash, and enjoy special discounts for this one night only.Β  With stalls from Gizzy and Nacho, Bejewelled Bespoke, Lily Lotus, Lola & Syd and much, much more – you won’t want to miss out on this event!

    Hester is originally from the incredibly glamorous city of Bristol, in England. Determined to escape her West-Country roots (though a love of good scrumpy should never be lost) she packed off for uni at Oxford to waste several years on a degree in Philosophy and never looked back… Following a stint in Switzerland eating too much fondue and meeting her future husband, they jumped at the chance to follow their dream of heading to Asia, and landed in Hong Kong in 2008. Along with partners-in-crime and fellow Tai-Tais, Maura Thompson and Natalie Firestone, she founded Sassy in 2009 and then Sassy Mama in 2011 after the birth of her daughter Elodie. Number 2 daughter Margot arrived in August 2012 and then two months later it was off to her new home in Singapore with tinies in tow. Hester is discovering the Lion City one shophouse at a time with a love for seeking out Singapore’s hidden secrets!
