What's On HK

SoHo Street Fair and Wine Walk Plus the Community Bazaar

17 November, 2010

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday keep your fingers crossed for beautiful weather as it will be the perfect weekend to stroll around the streets of SoHo. I was away for the SoHo Street Fair and Wine Walk (plus Handmade Hong Kong’s Community Bazaar) last year and after hearing great things about it I have it on my must do list for this Saturday.

Participating restaurants will have special food and wine pairings for just HK$88, and then for $140 you can purchase a ticket to the Wine Walk which allows you to visit any 6 of the participating outlets to enjoy a half portion glass of specially selected wine. A number of wine merchants will also have booths set up on the streets so I am imagining you can enjoy a taste or two while browsing all the lovely creations at the Community Bazaar which will feature local Hong Kong artisans. We also hear a number of boutiques in SoHo will also be offering special discounts during the weekend so make sure you pop into your favourite stores too!

There will also be tons of entertainment  provided by ZAiA and The Grand Canal Shoppes’ Streetmosphere. Think magicians, jugglers, Venetian signers and ZAiA performers from Cirque Du Soleil. Also, for the kiddies there will be face painting and tons more to keep them occupied for hours.
