Semi Permanent Creative Conference

8 March, 2011

Are you in need of a little inspiration? Or fed up with how this city’s focus is more on lawyers and bankers than designers and creatives? Well, this week, you’re in luck as Semi-Permanent is coming to Hong Kong…

Semi-Permanent is THE conference for Creative People. It’s a global gathering of pure talent, new ideas, conversation and visual splendour. Now in its ninth year internationally, Semi-Permanent’s purpose is to explore the exciting world of design by bringing together a panel of exceptionally talented, globally renowned speakers.

Semi-Permanent Hong Kong 2011 presents 12 award-winning creative minds from around the world for the first time in Asia – including Grammy award-winning graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister, visual effects legends Industrial Light & Magic, leading fashion photographer Kayt Jones, and filmmaker Nabil Elderkin who recently launched Bounding Cats. Surrounding the two-day conference will be a festival atmosphere of inspiring activities and events, including live art and exhibitions, outdoor madness, interactive competitions, installations, workshops and amazing parties (of course). Events run on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th March.

Tickets are available from HK Ticketing’s box offices located at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Fringe Club, and also online via HK Ticketing.
