Sassy is quickly becoming infatuated with Wong Chuk Hang. It seems that more and more stores are making their way to this up-and-coming (yet still a bit industrial) section of Aberdeen and we are loving all of the hidden treasures that we have come across in our explorations. The shining star in our eyes at the moment is Attic Lifestyle, a brightly lit haven for independently produced, affordable and totally unique finds.
Attic Lifestyle opened in late 2010 and owner Simone Daly has worked very hard to bring us quirky fashion accessories, colourful homewares and unusual gifts and products that should definitely bring a smile to even the most grumpy of people. Many of the pieces in the store are sourced from Denmark and South Africa and a number of the brands are either fair-trade or made with love by community empowerment projects.
You’re Invited: Attic Lifestyle’s showroom just had a mini facelift (to go along with their brand-new website, which launches on Thursday) and they are excited to show off their new look with a celebration event! Stop by anytime on Thursday 19 May from 11am onwards to check it out for yourself. Champagne, soft drinks and mini cupcakes will be served so don’t fret about shopping on an empty stomach if you can only make it during lunch or after a long day of work!
