Pierre Herme Paris comes to Hong Kong – delish macarons this way!

27 March, 2013

The macaron wave continues!

Hot on the heels of Ladurée opening their first Hong Kong store in Harbour City last year (and yes… the queues are still going strong!), macaron maestro Pierre Hermé Paris has announced he will be opening his first store in Hong Kong too!

The store will be opening in Central’s IFC mall on Saturday, 25 May 2013 at 10am, selling a scrumptious range of Hermé’s delish chocolates and macarons; Hester reckons their macarons are (shhh) even better than Ladurée… and we can’t wait to submit them to the all-important Sassy taste test to see if we agree!

Macaron flavours on offer in Hong Kong include Crème Brulee (vanilla and caramel pieces), Arabesque (apricot and crunchy pistachio), Céleste (passion fruit, rhubarb and strawberries) and Infiniment Chocolat Porcelana (pure origin Venezuala Porcelana dark chocolate). For the chocolate and bonbons selection, think Makassar (salted-butter caramel mousse ganache, covered in dark chocolate), Ouvre-toi (sesame praline and sesame nougat in milk chocolate) and Lou (ginger and milk chocolate ganache with candied ginger). We’re drooling already!

So start stalking the IFC to get your first taste of sweet treats from ‘Dior of desserts’ and the ‘Picasso of pastries’ soon!
