Origami Jewellery

Guest Style Blogger Anh tells us about Origami Jewellery, perfect if you want to celebrate the lunar new year in style!

For Christmas, my husband gave me a gorgeous gold necklace with an origami horse charm because I am a horse in Chinese astrology.

Whilst 2011 may not be the year of the horse, it does however mark the year of the rabbit. So this week, I want to bring you this unique jeweler range by French designers Claire & Arnaud.

The Origami Collection started off after these 2 friends were shown how to fold origami animals by their Japanese pal one winters night. After a full evening of folding and being amazed by this wonderful art, Claire & Arnaud designed their first origami earrings and..well..the rest is history.

The range consists of earrings, necklaces and bracelets. They can either be gold or silver plated and are uniquely eye catching pieces, yet simple enough to wear every day. I love my gold horse necklace as the chain is longer and looks great layered with a few shorter chains for that bohemian look.

Definitely a great bit of fun jewellery to get your summer outfits going. Price ranges from HK1000 – HK1800 for each piece.

Origami jewellery can be bought online at www.origamijewellery.com or at Homeless in Causeway Bay.
