Over at Sassy we adore Marc Jacobs for his brilliant talent to design easy to wear looks for the modern girl. Not too mention his clothing line is considered affordable when up against other high end designers. Of course we have been anxious to get a look at his Fall 2010 collection at NYC Fashion Week.
His show was quoted as being “emotional” with tunes like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” blasting as models paraded down the runway in palettes of greys and camel. True to his style this collection was ready to wear right of the runway. Hester mentioned yesterday that the line definitely boasted lots of fur (we prefer the faux), it also included loads of cashmere and flannel which screams cozy and comfortable. Almost every single one of his looks was paired with some sort of low heeled shoe with ankle high socks. According to Marc Jacobs, the line is meant to be “gentle, stylish and pretty.”
