Little White Dresses

We have had the occasional conversation at Sassy about what we would do differently if we were able to have a wedding do-over… Of course, we all loved our weddings, but as there are just so many incredible options out there in the world, you can’t help but think about a castle in Italy, the beach in Phuket, or a chic New York City affair. One thing we definitely agree on is that we should have taken the opportunity to try on more dresses! Because I never saw myself as a very wedding dress kind of girl, I only tried on about 4 dresses in total before finding my dream dress. Now when I walk past bridal shops, I wish I had allowed myself to have more fun with the whole thing and tried on obviously unsuitable but fun dresses! To all brides-to-be – please, indulge yourself when you’re choosing your dress, it’s the only (probably) chance you’ll get to try out how the Disney princess look works for you, or to flounce around in slinky backless satin…

One big question of course, would you go short? This gorgeous editorial from Instyle Weddings has so many different styles of short dresses, and all so perfectly chic. My favourite is the one where the girl is taking a photo. Gorgeous.
