Karma Yoga Opens – Free classes until 31 August

There is a new yoga studio in town…

Karma Yoga just opened and I have to say I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard about their membership set up. After all that happened to those people who lost money when yoga studios such as Planet Yoga quickly closed it is nice to see a studio focus more on the practice then grabbing as much money as they can upfront and locking people into contracts.

Karma will only be selling their memberships on a monthly basis and there won’t be any pre-payments whatsoever to begin a membership. This really sounds like a great idea not only because of the unfortunate thing that has happened with the closing of studios but also for people with active travel schedules or for those who want to sample yoga for a short bit of time and don’t want to commit to a full year and chance not using it.

From what I can tell by looking at their schedule Karma Yoga offers a wide variety of classes ranging from Hatha, Ashtanga, Power, Yin/Yang and Detox Yoga. I have read that they have a hot room but I don’t currently see it on the schedule at the moment. They are also offering free classes until 31 August so for the next few days you can test our their classes and instructors and figure out for yourself if Karma Yoga is the right fit for you.
