A couple of weeks ago we got an email from Tania of T Like Bubble Tea asking if we’d like to take part in a very special collaboration that she and some of our other favourite Hong Kong fashion bloggers were taking part in (we’ve profiled Christing, Geneva and Denise on Sassy before) with fab online store ASOS.com. We jumped at the chance to promote some very stylish local talent, especially when we heard we’d be able to offer a special 10% discount for Sassy Hong readers (in Hong Kong) off all full-priced items! There’s also the chance for one lucky reader to win a GBP250 (around HK3,050) ASOS voucher… read on for more details!
The girls put together an amazing Tea Party featuring all kinds of delish snacks, from egg tarts and summer roll sandwiches, to yummy cakes from Vero and Cafe Loisl and macaroons. We love how they designed and made special menus and had gorgeous fresh flowers and colourful bird cages filling Tania’s apartment… The point of the Tea Party wasn’t the snacks and socializing though – this was all about FASHION, and in particular, answering the challenge of putting an outfit together from ASOS.com with a GBP100 budget!
We think they all look great, but we’d love to know who you think did the best job with their look — especially as they’re competing to win a prize between themselves as well! Just for voting on who had the best outfit you’ll be in with a chance of winning that GBP250 voucher…
Do you think Denise (above) should win with her floral calf-length skirt, belted jumper and ankle boots? We’re big fans of her see-through perspex clutch (sadly now sold out on the site)…
Or how about Tania with her tonal ensemble? We can’t get enough of the amazing details on this shirt – check out the pockets. The collar tips are actually add-ons which come separately so you can use them to accessorize different items, and then the gold cuffs are another super-c00l add… Very Nina Garcia.
Sybil of Style Voyager is so ladylike in her colour-block pencil skirt with brocade platform heels and tucked in blouse with billowy chiffon sleeves. She’s also on-trend for this season with her polka-dot clutch!
And last, but not least, Sam does effortless layering and that mustard mini dress (worn under man’s shirt and jumper) is sooooo this season. She always has a slightly androgynous feel to the looks she puts together, and the chunky boots and hat stop the short skirt from looking school-girly.
So who has your fave ASOS outfit? You can vote for the winner (and be in with a chance of winning that ASOS.com voucher yourself!) here…
And how do you claim your 10% off shopping at ASOS.com this week? Just enter the discount code ASOSHKSASSY when you check out!
