Bridal Beauty at Four Seasons Spa

I refuse point blank to let wedding prep take over my life, there’s only so much white a girl can take right? But I’m making an exception for my beauty routine so I’m cranking it up a notch in the lead up to the big day. I’m determined to glow and I can use all the help I can get. Luckily I’m friends with some beauty gurus in Hong Kong including Shoshana and Amy at Four Seasons and when I asked for help they gave me a sneak preview of the brand new Beautiful Bridal Retreat, a full-day ritual designed to calm the mind, open chakras and give skin an immediate lustre. The best thing about this beauty experience is that it’s perfect the night before your wedding as your skin is flawless right afterwards!

The treatment was mind blowing from the very beginning. I find it hard to chill out but as I stepped into the huge bathtub full of sake and dozens of sliced lemons I couldn’t help but relax. The view over Victoria Harbour was breathtaking and as I sipped on some sake it was impossible not to let all the stress of the day float away. The purifying soak takes a cue from geishas as the rice liquor is anti-inflammatory and moisturizing, and lemons make the body glow clean and bright.

Next up was a full body massage to eliminate negative energy using rose and jasmine oil followed by a two-hour facial and décolletage treatment. The therapist used Biologique Recherche products and special techniques to stimulate blood circulation, plump my lips and lift my face before applying a collagen face masque and moisturiser. The same attention was paid to my bust as it was cleansed, massaged and moisturised to lift and tone the area. The 120 minutes flew by and for someone who finds it very hard to stay still I was shocked when the time was up!

After I was beautified I realised that I had forgotten to eat so was grateful for a healthy lunch at the Pool Terrace created by Executive Chef Hervé Fucho. Lean protein, whole grains and plenty of fruits and vegetables were served up and everything was delicious. An expresso mani-pedi was next up at the brand new Nail Bar while I sipped on some bubbles and watched the sunset on Victoria Harbour. It was a perfect end to an awesome day!

And because the team at Four Seasons understands that some brides are busier  than others there’s also a mini retreat called the Gorgeous Bride Facial that takes two hours and includes the face and décolletage treatments.

The beautiful Bride Retreat is available for $9,300 Monday to Thursday and $9,800 on weekends + 10% service charge and The Gorgeous Bride Facial is available for $3000 Monday to Thursday and $3300 on weekends + 10% service charge.
