Le Boudoir: The Ultimate Private Party Venue

There are always special events cropping up in our social calendars; from baby and bridal showers, to leaving ‘dos and birthday parties. Whatever you’re celebrating, it can be hard to find the perfect venue to get the girls together and relax with some nibbles and drinks. What many people want is somewhere conveniently located in Central, private, intimate and of course, fun! Enter Le Boudoir, a secret French spot on Wyndham Street that’s now a firm Sassy favourite.

To say goodbye to our awesome Business Development Director, Simran, before her move to Paris, we decided to have a surprise leaving party at Le Boudoir (it’s all about that French theme!). Tucked away on Wyndham Street down a winding set of stairs, you wouldn’t expect to find this beautifully-decorated boudoir. Vintage knick-knacks, quirky paintings, elegant chandeliers and ornate mirrors adorn the walls; the whole place oozes a Moulin Rouge vibe and you wouldn’t feel out of place wearing a feather boa…

The staff at Le Boudoir were so accommodating and let us take over the cosy sofa area at the back of the room. The space isn’t huge, but we loved the intimate feel and the privacy – it would be ideal for renting out for a birthday for 20 people, especially as it’s so close to Lan Kwai Fong if you fancied going out after!

We were treated to a selection of cocktails that were absolutely delicious. The Spicy Fifty went down well with those of us on the team that love a fiery kick – the mix of Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Lime, Elderflower Cordial, and Honey Syrup with Thai Red Chilli was a refreshing contrast that kept us coming back for more! We also loved the gin cocktails on offer – the Eden’s Garden cocktail with Gin, Aperol, Apricot and Rosemary and the Boudoir Collins with Gin, Elderflower Syrup, Lemongrass, Fresh Mint, Lemon and Soda Water. These cocktails are TOO easy drink, so if you stop by for a couple of drinks with the girls, just watch out as you’ll be three down before you know it!

To keep us going before we all headed off for dinner, Le Boudoir also provided us with some tasty nibbles. These little toasts with different toppings were the perfect canapés, and Simran, our resident Sassy veggie, was definitely happy with the beetroot and goats cheese ones. The beef tartare canapés were also a hit with the meat-eaters among us!

All in all, we had an amazing time at Le Boudoir celebrating Simran’s new adventure and all that she’s achieved at Sassy so far. The French theme was ideal for her Paris move, and we couldn’t have found a better private spot. We will all be hitting up Le Boudoir again for the scrumptious cocktails (see the Happy Hour Deal here) and to check out the cool live jazz nights every Wednesday. This is definitely somewhere to consider if you’re looking for a cool but casual place for drinks with the girls or for an intimate private party… whatever the occasion, you’re sure to have a bonne nuit!
