New Menus & Drinks

Limewood

Limewood is ready for a new month and a taste of warmer weather with its new seasonal cocktail, Flower Child! Served throughout April, the cocktail was created with the intention to reduce waste, so leftover ingredients have been transformed to create this tasty tipple made from gin, dry vermouth, re-crafted beet agave, lime and charcoal pineapple dust. What’s more, $10 from every purchase of the Flower Child cocktail will go towards the Plastic Oceans Foundation, with Limewood also donating an additional $10. Find out more about all of Maximal Concepts eco-friendly cocktails here!

Morton’s of Chicago

Unveiling a tempting new bar menu along with innovative takes on classic cocktails, Morton’s of Chicago has caught out attention this month. Amongst the new drinks offerings is The State Street Manhattan ($160) – served via a towering handmade apparatus, it is sure to turn heads. A blend of premium Woodford Reserve Bourbon and Carpano Antico Vermouth are dripped into a second chamber filled with fresh orange peels and Luxardo cherries, before being filtered into a final chamber and stirred with ice and served with a slice of Morton’s signature USDA Prime New York Strip. If that’s not enough for you, enjoy your drink alongside some of Morton’s new bar bites, with the likes of Short Rib Tacos ($190, or $65 during Power Hour) and Prime Cheeseburger Sliders ($156 for three, or $80 during Power Hour) all on offer. Morton’s Power Hour runs from 5pm to 7pm on weekdays, with signature bar bites available from $50 and $80 in the bar only.

Los Sotano

Los Sotano is also getting ready for the warmer months, with the introduction of five new spring cocktails, designed by Head Bartender Rob Kariakin. Whether you’re a fan of sweet, sour or bitter, there is something for you on the menu, with all drinks including elements of the season. We love the sound of the ‘La Fresa’, which consists of Botanical-Infused Absolut Elyx Vodka, Fresh Strawberries, Lemon, and Prosecco. This fresh concoction is the bars signature off-the-menu cocktail, so don’t worry if you don’t see it on the menu, say the name and the bartenders will know just what you mean!
