Daily Freestyle Menu launches at Fish & Meat – a must try summer dining experience

29 July, 2015

Sassy Girls love to wine and dine, and we know how much you all love hearing about the latest and greatest menus and restaurants to hit the ‘Kong. If you’re looking for a culinary experience like no other to wow you this summer, then we’ve found something you simply can’t miss – Fish & Meat’s brand new daily freestyle menu!

We’re already huge fans of Fish & Meat (see our review here) so we were more than happy to go along and try out this new menu concept. The idea is that only a couple of dishes are on the menu permanently (don’t worry, that includes their sexy soft duck egg ravioli – a foodie’s dream!), everything else is a special, created depending on the ingredients available from the market. The dishes will change weekly or bi-weekly, so not only does this guarantee that everything is super fresh and seasonal, but it also means you’ll find something different every time you go… you’ll never get bored!

We adored the Oven Roasted Indian Ocean Tiger Prawns and French Monkfish with capers, lemon thyme and wilted spinach when we tried out this daily freestyle menu. Sound good? If you missed it, make sure you check out our recent full review for more – warning, there is some serious food porn ahead! Not only was everything mouth-wateringly delicious, but it also showed how creative and flexible Executive Chef Russell Doctrove and his talented team are. Using different techniques, they really do use their spontaneous cooking skills to create something truly spectacular!

Simple yet sophisticated with rustic, ‘farm-house’ style décor, we couldn’t imagine a better place to unwind and beat the Hong Kong heat than Fish & Meat. Bring along your girlfriends for a summer supper and wash down the deliciousness with the equally exciting cocktails from Head Mixologist Liam Baer. We’ll see you there!
