Crazy about Cocodot

20 September, 2010

A paper invitation in the mail is always best and the most proper thing to do but I will never hesitate to send a card or invite via the world wide web again because now the world has Cocodot! Cocodot is a lovely online stationary store which has been described by celebrity stylist, Robert Verdi as “the Bergdorf Goodman of evites”. I mean, who wouldn’t want to know a tiny bit more after hearing praise like that, right?

I stumbled upon Cocodot in a magazine and as I was way behind in sending out invites for a party I was planning it immediately caught my eye. It seemed like a wonderfully stylish solution to get the word out to guests ASAP. Now this is my personal opinion but it is WAY better then evite. The options are pretty fabulous and you can use Cocodot to send an invitation, birthday card or even a thank you card on paper like looks like your very own personalized stationery. In the design process you can play around with different fonts and colours and you can also pick different envelopes and seals to go with your invite.

The way Cocodot works is you buy a subscription for 12 or 18 months and they also have a monthly option that just renews until you tell them you no longer want it. You can also purchase cards one by one without signing up for a membership. They currently have special launch prices on their membership rates too. It is really simple to use as well. You can upload your own invite list or pull from your email contacts to generate your list and it is also integrated with Facebook too.

Play around with it for yourself. I am interested to know whether you think it lives up to its Bergdorf comparison!
