Clogs – Love them or Loathe them?

A few weeks back I was flipping through a magazine (which I must add is one of my favourite ways to spend free time) and I came across this picture of Alexa Chung from the Chanel 2010 Couture Fashion show in Paris. I have been admiring her amazing style for a while now but this is the first time I thought I could actually pull off one of her looks….that is until my eyes scanned down to her feet and I saw a pair of (gasp!) clogs.

My first reaction was to quickly dismiss the clogs and try to recreate the rest of the look but the more and more I looked at them the more I thought that I had to give this trend a chance. I mean, like everything else when it comes to fashion, it is all in how you wear them, right?  Personally for me I am really digging the way Alexa paired her clogs with tights and a dress. The rest of the outfit is relatively classic and expected so adding the brown clogs really brings the outfit up a notch in the unique department.
