If you are against chilli, then this is not a place for you – YunYan is regarded as one of the most authentic Sichuan cuisines in town. The highlights from the menu are the traditional starter of spicy ox’s shin, tongue and stomach, the poached Mandarin fish layered with crispy soya beans, and the pea noodle sheets in Sichuan chilli sauce (not always easy to find in HK).
