Richard Ekkebus, the Dutch-born internationally-trained head chef, has knocked up a two Michelin starred menu in serene amber coloured surroundings. The Landmark Mandarin Oriental is famed for class, and the food follows through. With an extraordinary range of wines, Amber is surrounded on all sides by its glass clad wine cellar, a fantastic room for special private events. The menu is comprised of French dishes with international influences such as pigeon breast with wild mushrooms and steamed lobster with lentil salad. A real treat night.
