Be Bold Burlesque – April 23rd

Last Friday we got together with 25 Sassy Girls at Aerial Arts Academy for a night of Burlesque.  As everyone arrived, dressed in their fishnets and heels, we all started  to get into the dancing mood by sipping on wine provided by Altruistic Wines and indulging in the most delicious Red Velvet cupcakes from Blackberries and Cream.

The evening began  as we chose our alter-ego names like Coco Tease, Chiquita La Rue, Jewels, and someone even chose Dirty Tequila! Selecting a name was actually kind of hard so I was quite impressed by the choices everyone made.

Once we properly introduced ourselves it was time to learn all the moves to this glamorous art of tease. We broke into groups of three with our feather boas in hand and learned a seductive chair dance to Christina Aguilera’s Nasty Naughty Boy. Everyone looked absolutely amazing performing the routine and like natural showgirls!

Theresa and Claire were the lucky winners of free dance lessons from Aerial Arts Academy.

Overall the class was so much fun and left everyone wanting to channel their inner vixen!
