Attention chocoholics: Teuscher is back!

It was a sad day for chocolate lovers when the teuscher boutique closed in IFC a while back. But today we are passing along the fab news that teuscher is once again available in Hong Kong with a newly launched online shop!

Now first, please note: These are NOT your run-of-the-mill chocolates. Handmade in a small family run factory just outside Zurich, Switzerland since 1932, teuscher chocolates contain absolutely no preservatives, additives, chemicals or chemical colourings (they actually use spinach leaves and beetroots to colour the marzipan), and they only use 100% fair trade chocolate. What’s more, their yummy creations are literally flown in to their stores around the world each week to make sure they are the freshest possible.  It’s a chocolate lovers dream.

Just in time for Christmas, teuscher’s new HK-based online store lets you order their famed chocolates and have them delivered from Switzerland right to your doorstep, perfect for providing a stash of hostess gifts for the upcoming party season! And of course these sweet treats make for perfect stocking stuffers… who’s been good this year?!

Here’s what we’re stocking up on:

The Champagne Truffle: Um..where to begin?? In a word these are divine. Their house specialty, the famed Champagne Truffle is considered to be among the finest chocolates in the world – and it’s not a stretch to call these a culinary masterpiece. Why? Let’s just say the cream centre is made with Dom Perignon champagne.  Covered in dark chocolate ganache and sprinkled with confectioner’s sugar, this is my personal go-to.

Assorted Truffle Box: ‘Cause sometimes you want to mix things up a bit. All their truffles are made with fresh cream, butter and chocolate and the assorted box has standard flavours like milk chocolate and white chocolate, but also more exotic flavours like fresh orange and butter crunch. But don’t worry – the Champagne Truffle is included!

Special Christmas Goodies: Little boxes or mini bags of cutesy solid chocolate Santas, an authentic European Stollen cake, pralines packaged in a classic holiday box… all are no-brainers.

But listen up: as orders are being specially flown in just for the holidays, there are some important dates to keep in mind. If you order by this weekend, you can have your chocolates in your hot little hands next week.  Otherwise, be sure to order by 4 December for delivery between 12-14 December.
