The list of places I buy things for my apartment from in Hong Kong barely fills up the fingers of one hand: Ikea (a necessary evil), Indigo, Inside, Franc Franc and Lane Crawford Home (not exactly budget-friendly). I’m always on the lookout for fresh options though, as I’m a bit of a homebody and love to make my nest feel cosy! As my wish that Anthropologie, Pottery Barn or Habitat would open up here doesn’t seem to be coming true, I’m starting to look at ordering some pieces online, and was happy to come across Aussie website Ada & Darcy, which sells a fun and affordable selection of modern, girly pieces, with a bit of a chinoiserie twist.
Happily, Ada & Darcy will ship to Hong Kong, so I’m already mentally putting a little order together. Top of my wishlist is the Moroccan leather pouffe (around HKD2100) below which comes in tons of colours, including a very glamorous shiny gold! Also check out their fab selection of lamp shades like the one above which come in bold prints that would instantly give a new look to a room.
